What Affects the Cost of a Commercial Vehicle Wrap?
A useful commercial vehicle wrap quote starts with your vehicle, the coverage you want and the design. A full van wrap and a set of door graphics are different jobs. At Top Prints, we review the details before recommending an option.
Coverage and layout
A full wrap, partial wrap and vehicle lettering use different amounts of coverage. Tell us whether you want a complete branded design or graphics on selected areas. Your budget and how long you expect to keep the vehicle help us discuss suitable options. For partial wraps and decals, the final layout also determines what we produce and install.
The vehicle and its paint
Send the make, model and year, plus clear photos of both sides, the front and the rear. Include each vehicle in a fleet and tell us about existing graphics you want changed or removed. Add close-ups of damaged or peeling paint. At the shop, we may test a sample to check whether vinyl will adhere. If it will not stick, we decline the installation. For full wraps, photos help us prepare a quote but do not replace the shop's condition check.
Design and colour approval
Send your logo, existing artwork, brand colours and the business details you want displayed. We can work through the layout with you. Top Prints handles wrap design, printing and installation in-house, with design approval before production. For full wraps, we print a colour sample for approval at the shop. You can review the printed colour rather than relying only on a screen. Tell us about specific colour requirements; an exact match is not guaranteed.
Planning the timing
Tell us when you need the vehicle back at work. Design, approval and printing come before installation. Some smaller decal or partial-wrap jobs can be installed in one day only when the design is approved and everything is printed and ready. This is not a one-day promise for the whole project. Weekend or after-hours arrangements may be possible, depending on the job and availability.
What to send for your quote
Send your vehicle details and photos, paint concerns, existing graphics, logo and artwork, the business information to display, preferred coverage, budget and timing. Include how long you expect to keep the vehicle and details of every vehicle involved. If you need help choosing coverage, our full wrap, partial wrap and vehicle lettering guide explains the options.
